Terms of Service
Everything you need to know about working with Gargi The Tutor. Updated May 23, 2026.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the tutoring services provided by Gargi The Tutor (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all students, parents, and legal guardians accessing our platform and educational resources.
2. Description of Services
Gargi The Tutor provides personalized educational support, including but not limited to, subject-specific tutoring, test preparation, and academic coaching. Services may be delivered online via video conferencing or in-person as agreed upon during the booking process.
3. Payment and Fees
All tutoring fees are due at the time of booking or as specified in the individual service agreement. We accept payments via standard electronic methods. Rates are subject to change, but existing bookings will be honored at the original price.

We provide guidance and explanation to help students understand their coursework. We will not complete assignments, write essays, or take exams for students. Students are responsible for complying with their institution’s honor code.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during sessions, including worksheets, practice tests, and curriculum notes, are the property of Gargi The Tutor for personal use only. Redistribution is strictly prohibited.
7. Strict 48-Hour Cancellation Rule
Strictly No Exceptions
Cancellations are allowed only with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled session. No refunds or credits will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours. This policy applies regardless of the reason, including illness or family emergencies. This time slot is reserved exclusively for you.
8. Rescheduling Policy
Sessions may be rescheduled only if notice is given at least 48 hours in advance. Each session can be rescheduled a maximum of one time.
9. Refund and No-Show Policy
No refunds will be provided for late cancellations, no-shows, or sessions that have already been rescheduled once. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining our schedule.
10. Privacy and Recording
Online sessions may be recorded for safety and student review only. These will not be shared with third parties without express written consent from a parent or guardian.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
